### Overview <a href="#j9nmw99qlvl9" id="j9nmw99qlvl9"></a>

Bluelight players earn and spend different currencies and resources to progress the game. There are two main currencies - **bux** and **$KALE. Bux** is a soft currency and does not live on chain. This currency is used for basic in-game interactions. **$KALE** is a token on BNB chain, that is used to pay rewards and to acquire powerful and rare NFTs. Some actions may require both currencies.

**Bux** and **$KALE** work great in pair, allowing developers to balance game play and provide sustainable control to inflation and deflation of on-chain assets.
